The important thing in education is not to cram knowledge but to draw out outstanding innate abilities that every child is born with. To achieve this, you need to provide your child with the optimal environment for growth, rich stimuli and education. The Shichida Method combines the right brain education, which develops children’s sensibilities, with the conventional left brain education and develops the brain, heart and body in a balanced manner.
By combining the power of the left brain, the Shichida Method aims to draw out the abilities of your child in a balanced manner which we call a “whole brain education”. Abilities such as “inspiration” or “creativity” are controlled by the functions of the right brain. The right brain thinks with images and has the ability to memorize what we see at a glance. It demonstrates rich imagination. The left brain thinks with language and governs analysis and logic. Unfortunately, we usually use only the left brain and the right brain is in the state of dormancy. Children who are properly taught from a young age to use their right brain will be able to retain this ability even after they grow up.

The "Soul Education" is an education to develop children's hearts and polish their souls. The right brain can be activated not by egoistic hearts but by appreciative hearts. Parents should shower their child with love and praise which in turn encourages the child to learn. When a child is reared in an environment of unlimited love, continuous praise and unconditional acceptance, it develops a sense of "oneness" between parent and child. To unlock and develop the right brain, parents need to provide children with a stress-free environment to learn.
One special function of the right brain is resonance and sympathy. Children develop sensibility to sympathize with others and learn how to contribute to others. Children are born with unlimited abilities. Given the right stimulation and encouragement, the child will have the platform to explore freely with the ability to fulfill their dreams and develop a strong will to succeed. If children grow up with love from parents as nutrients for their heart, their souls develop well and beautifully.

It is said that the earlier you start stimulating children, the stronger the possibilities to develop the abilities they acquire. This is the "Law of Diminishing Ability.” In the Shichida Method, we draw out and develop innate capabilities of children by advising how to stimulate them in early childhood when they have high absorbing ability.

From infancy to three years of age is the period in which the child maximizes the utilization of the right brain. Between the ages of 4 to 6 is when the child would start to switch to using the left-brain. This law explains that children have astonishing potential and assimilating power and the closer the child is to an unborn or a newborn baby, the higher the abilities that you can draw out from the child without difficulty. With the Shichida Method, we believe that it is imperative for children to engage in a wide range of activities during this period in which the development of their abilities is remarkable. To fully develop these abilities, “affection” of parents and “environment” play major roles. Our goal is to help parents raise children with joy and watch over them with love.

For more than a decade I’ve maintained an interest in accelerated learning developments, having confidence that a way to better utilize our latent capabilities would eventually emerge. In late 1993 I embarked on research concerning specific techniques and their results. Although, research has been ongoing in the field of subliminal learning in different parts of the world for more than thirty years now, the work of educator Makoto Shichida in Japan is of particular significance. Today his results are being successfully replicated in the United States.
Using prenatal techniques similar to those pioneered by Suzuki to precondition a fetus to musical sounds, Shichida used words as well to precondition for postnatal learning –that is to say, to store desired information. Promptly after birth he would employ simple game-like exercises with flash cards and sounds to teach numbers, words, and ideas. Other exercises strengthen both long-term and short-term memory and pattern recognition. The results have shown the prodigious learning skills are available and can be maintained from the cradle. Eidetic imagery is strengthened and maintained so that the children are soon capable of reading with virtually perfect retention nearly as fast as they can turn the pages of a book.

He was an American pilot of Apollo 14. He earned a Doctor of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He founded the Institute of Noetic Science and focused his research on human consciousness, psychic phenomena and supernatural phenomena for thirty years.
Japanese accelerative learning pioneer Dr. Makoto Shichida was a tactic similar to Caesar’s to outmaneuver learning blocks. He discovered that a speedy input of data can short-circuit the slow the left brain. The left brain processes only one word or phrase at a time. But you can learn a foreign language, read a book, or absorb higher math at hundreds of times than rate. The tricks, Shichida discovered, is to feed the data into your brain too fast you conscious mind to follow it.
